A survey of our group showed that the two over-riding reasons for attending our meetings were to keep up with the latest technology that helps the hard of hearing and socializing with others who have similar problems resulting from hearing loss. We are a caring group and our people benefit from communicating with others that have similar problems during the meetings and outside of the meetings. They have made friends with others who share their hearing problems.

By attending you not only learn from the experts what is available to assist you to cope with your hearing problem, but you also have the opportunity to ask questions directly of these experts. You have the opportunity to share information with other hard of hearing for coping with every day problems created by hearing loss. Our associates learn not to be secretive about their lack of normal hearing. Over the years we have observed our associates gain self confidence and to feel free to let the normal hearing world know when they don’t understand.
