We meet the second Saturday of the odd numbered months. There is no meeting in July.

All meetings start at 10 a.m. and are in the auditorium of the Escondido JoslynSenior Center,210 East Park Ave., Escondido. We start with a business meeting of approximately 30 to 40 minutes, then take a break for no-charge refreshments and fellowship of approximately 20 minutes.Then we have a scheduled program.

Most months we have a speaker for our program. Once or twice a year we have a rap session. We never lack for participants from among our group, which make the rap sessions a popular event. Occasionally we present a video on how to have the best communication between hard of hearing people and those with normal hearing.

So that everyone can best hear the proceedings of the meetings, our meeting room has an audio loop around the outside walls, so that everyone equipped with a hearing aid or cochlear implant that has a telephone switch can understand  what is said on the microphone. We also furnish FM receivers with headphones for others needing help.
